On-Premise Wine Show is an innovative new tradeshow custom-made for bar, restaurant, hotel and club wine buyers. On-Premise Wine Show is Australia’s first and only wine exhibition of its kind, designed specifically for the growing and influential on-premise market. This intimate show will combine on-premise suppliers with added value business seminars, wine tastings and networking opportunities over two days at Melbourne’s historic Royal Exhibition Building.
Spanton Media Group prides itself on being the leading and most innovative hospitality media company and wouldn’t launch a new event unless there was seen to be a real need. On-premise wine buyers don’t have a lot of time to visit tradeshows. They want to get to and from such events quickly and while there, want to maximize their time away from their business. This is the main reason for the On-Premise Wine Show, as we can exclude all non-relevant labels and make sure our visiting buyers don’t waste time at off-premise-focused labels and supplier stands.
On-Premise Wine Show will be staged in partnership with Melbourne BarShow – the southern states’ leading tradeshow for the on-premise professionals. In 2006 Melbourne BarShow attracted 2,918 trade visitors, of which 62 per cent made purchasing decisions. Due to the success of Melbourne BarShow in 2006, the exhibitor floor plan has grown by over 55 per cent (excluding the On-Premise Wine Show) for 2007, providing an ideal platform and captive audience for the launch of the On-Premise Wine Show. Australian Bartender magazine will provide pre & post coverage as the shows official publication.
Wine buyers, operators, managers, bartenders and waiters from bars, hotels, pubs and nightclubs, plus importantly restaurateurs and sommeliers from restaurants.
Short and snappy on-premise-focused seminars, from ‘Upcoming Wine Varieties’ to ‘The Perfect Wine List’, plus tutored tastings from selected exhibitor labels.
All exhibitors and their exhibiting labels MUST currently supply or be available to the on-premise. These include wholesalers, importers, distributors and producers.
We have designed the stand packages within the show specifically with wine exhibitors in mind and have created the most complete and cost effective package possible. The stand package includes shell scheme walling, fascia board with company name, carpet, 2 x spotlights, 1 x 4amp power outlet, spittoon, mobile scanner, complimentary listing within the showguide and 25 complimentary entry passes for your customers (valued at $1,250).
